SILVERHAWK     BEAD  COLLECTION

ht-g-01 MATERIAL - black porcelain SHAPE - gorilla head SIZE - Approximately 22mm wide, 34mm hioghe, 15mm deep. HOLE - 3.5mm COLOR - Black porcelain PRODUCED - Ball shape formed. The material at the top is pinched and an armature incerted. A variety of hand made tools were used to form the facial elements.Each head was meant to have it's own character. WHEN & WHERE 1994 - Florida, USA COST -  1994 - retail at $2.00 each NOTE - These heads were design primarily for jewelry.

Tyler produced stoneware beads for West Coast bead shops from 1972 until 1977 doing business as The Tyler Bead Co. He returned to designing beads for jewelry of his own design in 1993 working with colored porcelain.
