da-001 MATERIAL - Unglazed colored porcelain SHAPE - Asymetrical bicone SIZE - 10mm dia. - 22mm length, HOLE - 3.5mm COLOR - blue, dark blue and green MADE - By Hand, armature inserted in ball of mixed color porcelain, then unevenly rolled over smooth surface. da-002 MATERIAL - Unglazed colored porcelain SHAPE - Symetrical - Ellipsoid / cylinder SIZE - 10mm dia. - 33mm length, HOLE - 3-4mm COLOR - dark blue, green & off white MADE - By Hand, armature inserted in lump of dark blue porcelain, rolled into cylinder and a strip of mixed color porcelain rapped around then rolled again over smooth surface. Ends are uneven. ACQUIRED 1977 - Carmel, CA, USA

Arthur Decker was trained by beadmaker Jean Christen. Arthur is now a fine artist, doing oil and acrylic paintings of California and Southwestern landscapes. He made beads at that time to support himself so that most of his time was free to paint. Beads were acquired 1977 in Carmel CA
